Airventure Presentation: Check 6: Pilot Peak Performance
July 22 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Warbirds Airventure presentation Tuesday 22 July 25 1000-1100
Warbirds area Quonset Hut
Abstract:
To fly at our best, it’s important to take in quality nutrients and adequate fluids. Many aviators
don’t realize the serious risks associated with dehydration and poor nutrition. Inadequate fluids
will lead to increased physical and cognitive strain that negatively impact flight performance.
This presentation will review the mechanics of nutrition and hydration and provide current
recommendations for quality, quantity, and timing of nutrient and fluid intake to perform at your
best.
