Lieutenant Colonel Christopher R. McAlear serves as Chief, Aerial Events Branch, Headquarters Air Combat Command, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia. He is responsible for enhancing community and international relations through managing the Air Combat Command Single-Ship Demonstration program, the Air Force Heritage Flight program, the National Capitol Region Aerial Control Teams, and the East Coast Air Power Demonstrations, and serves as the Air Combat Command Liaison for the Thunderbirds. Additionally, he is a T-38 Aggressor Mission Commander, providing accurate adversary tactics to train U.S. and allied forces.
