Though the Airshow and the airport have similar names, the Airshow is an independent, nonprofit organization with a volunteer board of directors. Bayles returns as Airshow director

Airshow delegation attends national convention
A Chennault International Airshow delegation attended the International Council of Air Shows (ICAS) annual convention Dec. 11-15 in Las Vegas. Leading the Chennault team were Airshow President Bruce Beard and Airshow Director Mary Jo Bayles. Also attending were Treasurer Larry Rewerts, board member Karen Wade, performer liaison Mallory Beasley, volunteer coordinator Kelly Smith and publicist Brett Downer of the O’Carroll.
