SUMMARY:Wings Over Charlotte County - A Salute to 1st Responders and Vietnam Veterans
DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, November 21st Florida International Air Show will provide a flyover of Charlotte County as a tribute to 1st Responders and Healthcare workers with a special honor to our Veteran’s at the Welcome Home Vietnam Veteran’s 2020 event. The flyover will feature aircraft from WWII\, Korea and Vietnam era. Fixed wing aircraft will be flown by veterans representing the Veterans Airlift Command Huey helicopters from the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Department and Lee Mosquito Control. \nAircraft will depart PGD at 1:30 flying over Punta Gorda and Charlotte Harbor waterfront\, proceeding along to 41 Murdock then to Charlotte Sports Park to overfly opening ceremonies of the “Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans” event circling back to perform the “Missing Man” formation honoring those lost in combat. \nContinuing on to Eaglewood flying the beachfront of Manasota Key\, and Boca Grande returning over Charlotte Harbor from Boca Grande pass to PGD airport. \n  \n
