EAA President Tom Poberezny to Enter ICAS Hall of Fame “For 25 years, Charlie Hillard, Gene Soucy, and I as the Eagle Aerobatic Team entertained millions of people worldwide,” Poberezny said. “I’m proud that my achievements in the air show industry are recognized by my peers. I accept this honor with great appreciation.” Younkin, a 2004 Bill Barber Award recipient, was on the air show circuit for 30 years; dazzling crowds in aircraft as diverse as a Decathalon, T-6 Texan, and his own custom bi-plane. Kulp spent 35 years in the air show business, performing in over 800 shows before retiring at the age of 82. Aside from his farmer routine he is a founding member of the Bealton Flying Circus in Bealton, Virginia. The hall of fame ceremony will take place in December during the ICAS convention in Las Vegas, Nevada. |
