ONLINE TRIBUTE CELEBRATES THE LIFE OF GERRY BECKONLINE TRIBUTE CELEBRATES THE LIFE OF GERRY BECK

Family and friends of Gerald S. Beck, Wahpeton, North Dakota, held a special service and celebration of his life on August 1 at the Fargo Air Museum. Gerry died on July 27 during the Showcase Flights at AirVenture while performing in his P-51A Mustang. Gerry, who founded Tri-Sate Aviation, Inc., a business that specialized in warbird restoration, had built the airplane from the original North American Aircraft plans and specifications. His longtime friend, Doug Rozendaal, and photographer Max Haynes, assembled a poignant tribute to Gerry featuring images of his loved ones as they bid him farewell at the Fargo service. EAA is making this web tribute available at
    www.eaa.org/BeckTribute.

The entire EAA and EAA Warbirds of America community of aviation enthusiasts expresses their condolences to Gerry's family and friends.
