T-34 Association Joins Government’s Accident Investigative Team
December 10, 2004 - The T-34 Association is working with the FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) in the investigation of a fatal T-34 accident that occurred earlier this week. On Tuesday, December 7, a Texas Air Aces (TAA) Beech T-34 went down over Lake Conroe, Texas, about 55 miles north of Houston, in what witnesses described as a wing separation.
Jud Nogle of the T-34 Association, noted that Victor Juarez, a Designated Engineering Representative (DER) who is extremely knowledgeable about the T-34 wing structure, will assist the accident investigation team. Juarez also participated, on behalf of the Association, to help with the investigation of a 2003 TAA T-34 fatal accident.
EAA and EAA Warbirds of America pledges its full support of the T-34 community and the T-34 Association. |
