Baugh Honored by Tennessee Aeronautics Commission

    EAA Director John T. Baugh Jr. of Lebanon, Tennessee, was recently honored for Career Contributions to Aviation from the Tennessee Aeronautics Commission at its August convention. Baugh is a charter inductee to the EAA Warbirds of America Hall of Fame in 1995, and served the organization as president from 1984-1989. In his 37-plus year flying career, Baugh has flown more than 137 types, including ultralights, antiques, homebuilts, sailplanes, seaplanes, helicopters, military trainers, bombers, and fighters. He served on the Tennessee Aeronautics Commission from November 1989 to June 2004, and was inducted into the Tennessee Aviation Hall of Fame last November.
