Manufacturer Product Service Bulletin Number CW03-01 Issue Date: July 15, 2003 Subject: Capewell supplied pins and ripcords - mandatory test. Capewell Components LLC has received reports of ripcord pins breaking under very low force. Affected ripcord pins are: MS70107, PS70107, 61C4304, and 55A6480. Warning: A defective pin could cause a parachute system to malfunction. A mandatory test is required on all Capewell supplied ripcord pins and/or ripcords from November 28, 2001 through to July 15, 2003.
